The family run bistro which opened in September 2009 specialises in serving high quality, well prepared food with reasonable prices.

During the day it is a lively coffee shop serving freshly prepared sandwiches, lighter snacks, exciting breakfasts and tantalising homemade soups. By night it is a fully licensed, delightfully welcoming bistro with a cool and sophisticated vibe serving a variety of tasty food ranging from home made stone baked Italian style pizza to succulent ribeye steak and fish and chips.

We take great care in working with the head chef to carefully select seasonal dishes for the specials board which change each week. The specials  include delightful fish, meat and vegetarian options using local produce which compliment the menu and extensive wine list.

The Olive tree is situated a stone’s throw from the Floral Pavillion  and the new Light cinema which is ideal for pre theatre/film dining and at your convenience there is plenty of free parking directly outside the restaurant.
